19 Oct Kathryn Garforth of Garforth Education – Joanna Piros Take 2 🎬 Interview
She was called a lot of mean names as a child, and not even her parents could convince Kathryn Garforth that she wasn’t stupid. She was diagnosed as severely dyslexic in Grade 4, around the time the public school system essentially wrote her off.
Thanks to a private school with a focus on dyslexia, and incredibly hard work and tenacity, she pursued a Ph.D. and now works to support teaching, and learning, with special emphasis on those kids who struggle, often invisibly.
